print specifications

Let me begin by stating that I am very proud of each of my fine art prints; therefore, the quality of the print you order and receive should reflect my commitment to excellence in the printing and shipping process.  I want to exceed your expectations in hopes that you will be as proud to display my art as I am to offer it to you.  The following information will provide you the technical specifications of my fine art prints and processes.

Paper and Ink Combination
Beyond the print itself, the paper and ink used to reproduce the image are the most important consideration when purchasing fine photographic art.   Because of their cutting edge technology, I exclusively use Epson professional printers, paper and inks to reproduce my images.

Ink:  Epson UltraChrome K3™ Pigment Inks

Epson UltraChrome K3™ ink technology represents a turning point in the history of inkjet printing. Inspired by Epson’s past generations of pigmented ink technology, Epson's all new 8-color ink set incorporates three unique levels of black, which along with new color pigment technology, dramatically improves both color and black and white prints. The result produces archival prints with amazing color fidelity, gloss level, and scratch resistance.

Luster Paper:  Epson Professional Media – Premium Luster Photo Paper

Lightfast Ratings from Wilhelm Imaging Research: 71 years

This ink/paper combination produces vivid, lifelike images as well as an extremely high lightfast rating provided the prints are framed under glass.  In comparison, and under normal conditions, my prints will last more than four times longer than the current Kodak papers found at your local photo-finishing center.  Bottom line:  You’ll enjoy your print for many, many years…and then some.

Canvas Giclee:  Torino 21G by Magiclée®

Magiclee® Torino 21G is a high-gloss 21 mil poly/cotton blend canvas for high quality digital output.  Its universal ink jet coating provides excellent color gamuts and image stability when printed with pigmented inks. The high gloss level allows for higher color densities, which result in increased color saturation over matte, semi-matte, and satin canvases. Torino 21G is ideal for portraits, fine art reproductions and museum art.

Each Canvas Giclee Print is treated with Krylon Preserve It!® Spray Protectant.  This sealant more than doubles the life of canvas prints and protects against UV fading, moisture, and smudges. The spray is moisture-resistant, acid free and archival safe.

Shipping
United Parcel Service (UPS) is our carrier of choice. All prints are wrapped in protective plastic and shipped in a sturdy box or tube to the shipping address you provide.  Tracking information is sent to you via email once your print has been shipped.

Satisfaction Guarantee
Your satisfaction is guaranteed.  I strive hard to exceed your expectations; however, if you aren’t completely satisfied with your print order, you may return it within 30 business days from date received.  You will be refunded the purchase amount, minus a $30.00 restocking/handling fee.  If your print is damaged during shipping, have UPS return it to me and I’ll replace it at no charge to you.

Certificates of Authenticity

Each print comes with a certificate of authenticity that verifies that this print came from American Heritage Fine Photography, M. Sean Maloy.  Further, the certificate will provide the historical data for which the subject represents.  Much of this is the same information found in our galleries.  These add extra value to each print that you won’t find with other photographers.  Enjoy!
